THE NOEL COWARD LOUNGE
Guests can meet friends, take tea or simply watch the sea and relax in the Noel Coward Lounge. The room boasts another authentic victorian fireplace featuring it’s original beautiful tile surround. The room also maintains the original, unique cornices and covings and stained glass decorations.
The Noel Coward Lounge is named after one of the former residents of 70 Marine Parade - the famous English actor, playwright and composer Sir Noel Peirce Coward (1899-1973). A colourful character, Noel Coward was considered a close friend of Winston Churchill, Princess Margaret, Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, Judy Garland, Vivien Leigh, Marlene Dietrich and Ivor Novello.
